Scrambled Eggs for One
Servings and Ingredients
|1 extra-large egg or 2 small eggs|
|2 tsp. milk|
|½ tsp. butter, optional|
- Break egg into a 1-quart microwave-safe mixing bowl. Whisk in milk, salt and pepper. Add butter, if desired.
- Cook for 1 minute (in 700-watt microwave oven) or for 42 seconds (in 1000-watt microwave oven) at 100% power until about 1 tablespoon of egg remains uncooked.
- Mix egg well with rubber spatula and serve. Egg will be moist.
- If dry eggs are preferred, cook for 5 seconds more (in a 700-watt microwave oven) or for 3 seconds more (in a 1000-watt oven) at 100% power. Mix with rubber spatula and serve.
