    2 lbs. breakfast sausage
    ½ c. margarine
    pepper, to taste
    flour, to thicken
    4 c. milk
    biscuits or toast, for serving

    Directions

    1. Brown sausage. Drain.
    2. Stir in margarine and pepper and heat and stir until margarine is melted.
    3. Sprinkle flour on top, enough to thicken, and stir until smooth.
    4. Stir in milk. Simmer until thickened.
    5. Serve over biscuits or toast.
