Salad in a Jar
Try this quick, make-ahead salad that keeps your leafy greens dressing-free until it's time to eat.
Servings and Ingredients
|2 tbsp.||salad dressing|
|whole grains, tofu, meat, mushrooms or beans|
|radishes, sliced onion, tomatoes and peppers|
- Measure salad dressing into the bottom of a screw-top jar. Next, layer whole grains, tofu, meat, mushrooms or beans. Top with crunch and color: radishes, sliced onion, tomatoes and peppers.
- Finish filling the jar with enough greens to pack the jar tight. Store in refrigerator until ready to use. Pour into a bowl and enjoy a salad that's already in perfect order.
