Red Pepper and Mozzarella Turkey Burger

Swap ground beef with turkey for a leaner hamburger layered with peppers and basil pesto.

4 oz. fresh mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced | ||
4 Hy-Vee Bakery onion hamburger buns, split | ||
1 c. arugula | ||
½ c. julienned roasted red peppers | ||
4 tbsp. prepared pesto |
Directions
- Preheat grill to direct heat over medium-high heat. Divide turkey into 4 patties and grill for about 8 to 10 minutes, flipping once, or until temperature reaches 165 degrees. Top each patty immediately with a slice of cheese.
- On bottom of each hamburger bun, top with arugula. Top with patty, roasted red peppers, pesto and top bun.
