    2 packet(s) Hy-Vee raspberry-hibiscus tea
    ¼ c. Hy-Vee frozen tart red cherries
    Hy-Vee honey, to taste
    ¾ c. Hy-Vee 2% reduced-fat milk
    1 tsp. ashwagandha powder
    1 tsp. beet juice, or several drops red food coloring, optional

    • 2 small saucepans
    • Fine mesh strainer
    • Blender
    • 16-oz. mug

    Directions

    1. Heat water, tea packets, frozen cherries, and desired amount of honey over medium heat until simmering. Remove from heat and allow to steep for 5 minutes. Strain; discarding tea packets and fruit.

    2. Meanwhile, bring milk to a simmer. Remove from heat and pour in a blender. Blend; slowly adding tea mixture and ashwagandha powder. Blend until frothy; adding beet juice or red food coloring to add a light red color, if desired. Pour into a 16-oz mug and serve warm.
