    1 (30 oz) can pumpkin
    ⅔ c. water
    2 tsp. baking soda
    2 eggs
    1 (12 oz) container Cool Whip, thawed
    ⅓ c. packed brown sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 13-by-9-inch baking dish.
    2. Combine cake mix, pumpkin, water, baking soda and eggs. Transfer to prepared pan.
    3. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool completely.
    4. For topping, combine Cool Whip, brown sugar and vanilla. Frost cooled cake and refrigerate before serving.
