    1 c.pomegranate juice
    1 c.Hy-Vee granulated sugar
    Pomegranate Fizz
    3 oz.citron flavored vodka
    1 oz.fresh lime juice
    2 oz.Pomegranate Syrup
    1large pasteurized egg white
    4 oz.sparkling wine, such as Cava

    Directions

    1. Make Pomegranate Syrup: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, add pomegranate juice and sugar. Heat, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and refrigerate until chilled.

    2. Make Pomegranate Fizz: Combine vodka, lime juice, 2-oz. Pomegranate Syrup and pasteurized egg white in a cocktail shaker. Add ice and shake vigorously until cold and frothy.

    3. Strain into 2 coupe cocktail glasses. Top each cocktail with 2-oz. sparkling wine.
