Plum Delicious Kebabs
Servings and Ingredients
|½ c.||Hy-Vee apricot preserves|
|1 tbsp.||Hy-Vee butter|
|3||firm nectarines, pitted, quartered|
|3||firm plums, pitted, quartered|
|3||firm peaches, pitted, quartered|
|1||prepared non-fat pound cake|
- In small saucepan, heat preserves, butter, water and spices until butter melts.
- Preheat grill to medium. Soak six (12-inch) wooden skewers in water 30 minutes.
- Thread fruit and cake alternately onto skewers. Brush with glaze.
- On clean grate or fish screen, grill kebabs 5 inches from heat for 7 minutes. Turn once. Brush with glaze.
- Serve with remaining glaze.
