Plum Delicious Kebabs

½ c. Hy-Vee apricot preserves | ||
1 tbsp. Hy-Vee butter | ||
1 tbsp. water | ||
⅛ tsp. cinnamon | ||
⅛ tsp. nutmeg | ||
3 firm nectarines, pitted, quartered | ||
3 firm plums, pitted, quartered | ||
3 firm peaches, pitted, quartered | ||
1 prepared non-fat pound cake |
Directions
- In small saucepan, heat preserves, butter, water and spices until butter melts.
- Preheat grill to medium. Soak six (12-inch) wooden skewers in water 30 minutes.
- Thread fruit and cake alternately onto skewers. Brush with glaze.
- On clean grate or fish screen, grill kebabs 5 inches from heat for 7 minutes. Turn once. Brush with glaze.
- Serve with remaining glaze.
