2 (10-oz.) Hy-Vee True boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 ½ tbsp. Gustare Vita olive oil
1 (2.76-oz.) Hillshire refrigerated snacking small plate pepperoni kit
1 c. Gustare Vita pizza sauce

    Things To Grab

    • Paper towels
    • Frying pan
    • 11x8-inch baking dish
    • Foil

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Cut each breast diagonally in half. Sear chicken in olive oil 3 to 4 minutes or until lightly golden, turning halfway through. Drain on paper towels.

    2. Cut 3 slits in the top of each chicken piece, cutting to, but through, the bottom. Cut each slice of pepperoni and cheese into 4 pieces. Tuck 2 pieces each of pepperoni and cheese into each slit.

    3. Spread pizza sauce in the bottom of an 11x8-inch baking dish. Place chicken breasts on top. Cover with foil. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until chicken is 165 degrees. Sprinkle with finely crushed toasted rounds from kit.
