Margherita pizza is often found in Italian restaurants and has three main ingredients: tomatoes, basil and mozzarella cheese. This one has Alfredo sauce as well for a creamier texture.

|1||recipe Garlic-and-Herb-Crusted Pizza dough|
|8 tbsp.||Hy-Vee Alfredo sauce, divided|
|12||tomato slices, divided|
|1 c.||sliced cherry tomatoes, divided|
|8 oz.||fresh mozzarella cheese, divided|
|Hy-Vee black pepper, to taste|
|Fresh basil leaves, optional|
- Prepare Garlic-and-Herb-Crusted Pizza dough according to recipe.
- Spread Alfredo sauce over each crust; top with tomato slices, sliced cherry tomatoes and cheese. Sprinkle with black pepper.
- Bake in 425-degree oven for 12 to 14 minutes or until bubbly. After baking, top with fresh basil leaves, if desired.
