    500 ml. gin
    1 Tazo Passion hibiscus tea bag
    2 ½ tsp. whole pink peppercorns
    Tonic
    1 tsp. blackberry jam
    1 ½ oz. peppercorn-infused gin
    1 lemon wedge
    Hy-Vee tonic water, for serving
    Lemon twist, for garnish
    Basket & Bushel blackberries, for garnish
    Fresh thyme sprig, for garnish

    • 10-oz. rocks glass
    • Cocktail skewer

    Directions

    1. For infused gin, pour gin into a Viski Alchemi spirit infusion kit’s 500-ml infusion bottle to the fill line. Fold tea bag; insert into infusion rod and add peppercorns. Place rod into infusion bottle. Let stand for 24 hours. For stronger flavor, let stand for 2 to 3 days. To store, remove infusion rod; place stopper in bottle. Refrigerate up to 1 month.

    2. For tonic, place blackberry jam in the bottom of a 10-oz. rocks glass. Fill glass with crushed ice. Add infused gin. Squeeze juice from lemon wedge over the ice. Top with tonic.

    3. Thread lemon twist and blackberries onto a cocktail skewer. Garnish drink with skewer and thyme, if desired.
