    4 c. flour
    1 tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 ½ c. shortening or lard
    1 egg
    1 tbsp. vinegar
    ½ c. water

    Directions

    1. Combine flour, sugar, salt and baking powder. Add shortening and fix with a fork until crumbly.
    2. Beat egg in separate bowl. Add vinegar. Add water.
    3. Combine egg mixture with flour mixture. Mix with fork.
    4. Roll out on floured board. Ease into pie plates.
    5. Bake at 350 degrees.
