    ⅓ c. brandy
    ⅔ c. Hy-Vee no-salt-added beef broth
    ½ c. Hy-Vee heavy whipping cream
    1 ½ tsp. coarsely ground black peppercorns

    Directions

    1. Pan-sear steaks as directed. Discard fat from skillet and wipe clean with paper towels.

    2. Add brandy to skillet. Bring to a simmer, scraping bottom of skillet. Simmer until reduced to about 1 tablespoon.

    3. Add beef broth, simmer for 2 to 3 minutes or until reduced by half. Add whipping cream; simmer 2 to 3 minutes or until reduced to about 1/3 cup. Stir in coarsely ground black peppercorns.
