    1pear, cored, cut lengthwise into 12 slices
    1 tsp.Hy-Vee lemon juice
    1Hy-Vee Bakery Take and Bake baguette, cut into 12 slices, 1/2-inch thick
    4 oz.crumbled blue cheese (1 c.)
    4 tsp.Hy-Vee nonfat milk
    ¼ c.chopped Hy-Vee walnuts, toasted
    4Hy-Vee bacon slices, cooked and crumbled

    Directions

    1. Preheat broiler. In a medium bowl combine pear slices and lemon juice; toss to combine. Set aside.
    2. Broil bread slices 5 inches from heat 1 minute per side or until lightly toasted.
    3. Stir together cheese and milk until smooth; spread evenly on 1 side of each toasted bread slice. Sprinkle each slice with 1 teaspoon walnuts, top with 1 pear slice and some of the bacon crumbles, and serve.
