    Servings and Ingredients

    Ingredients
    Serves 6
    QuantityIngredientAdd
    ½ c. Hy-Vee honey
    ¾ c. Hy-Vee reduced-fat peanut butter
    1 c. Hy-Vee non-fat dry milk
    48 Hy-Vee pretzel sticks
    12 Hy-Vee raisins
    6 Hy-Vee graham crackers

    Directions

    1. Beat the honey, peanut butter, and milk together with a mixer until well blended. Place the peanut-butter dough, stick pretzels, and raisins on a worktable.
    2. Set a graham cracker in front of your child. Show the child how to roll the peanut-butter dough into about a 1-3/4-inch ball using the palms of his or her hands. Place the big ball on the graham cracker (as spider's body). Then roll a much smaller ball of dough (3/4 inch) and place on the graham cracker (as spider's head). Show your child how to stick raisins in the head of the spider (to make eyes) and down the back of the spider (if desired). Show your child how to stick eight pretzel sticks into the side of the spider's body to make legs. Now the spider is ready to eat!
