Peanut Butter Crunch Cereal Bars

1 c. | Hy-Vee honey | |
1 ½ c. | Hy-Vee creamy peanut butter | |
1 | (2 oz) pkg Hy-Vee sliced almonds | |
¼ c. | Hy-Vee sunflower kernels | |
1 | (12 oz) box Health Valley Heart Wise cereal | |
1 c. | Hy-Vee semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted |
Directions
- In a large saucepan, combine sugar and honey over medium-high heat. Stirring constantly, bring to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter.
- Stir in almonds, sunflower kernels and cereal until coated.
- Pour into a greased 9-by-13-inch pan.
- Drizzle evenly with melted chocolate chips. Cover and refrigerate 1 to 2 hours before serving. Store covered at room temperature.
