    ½ c. packed brown sugar
    ½ c. granulated sugar
    ¼ tsp. salt
    2 tbsp. cornstarch
    ½ c. orange juice
    2 tbsp. butter
    6 to 8 ripe peaches, peeled and sliced
    pastry, for 2-crust pie

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
    2. Combine brown sugar, granulated sugar, salt and cornstarch in a saucepan. Whisk in orange juice until smooth. Cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring constantly.
    3. Remove from heat and stir in butter. Pour over sliced peaches and cool.
    4. Prepare pastry and line a 9-inch pie pan. Make lattice strips from remaining pastry.
    5. Spoon peach mixture into unbaked pie crust. Top with lattice strips. Bake for 50 minutes.
