    1 (12 oz) pkg Hy-Vee fettuccine
    Hy-Vee vegetable cooking spray
    ¼ c. chopped onion
    2 clove(s) garlic, minced
    1 ½ tsp. Hy-Vee cornstarch
    1 c. Hy-Vee half-and-half
    ½ c. Hy-Vee chicken broth
    ¾ tsp. dried basil leaves
    ½ tsp. Hy-Vee salt
    1 lbs. cooked boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
    ¼ tsp. grated lemon peel

    Directions

    1. Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain.
    2. Meanwhile, spray a large skillet with cooking spray. Heat over medium heat. Add onion and garlic. Cook 3 minutes or until onion is tender, stirring frequently.
    3. Stir cornstarch into half-and-half.
    4. Add half-and-half mixture, chicken broth and seasoning to garlic. Stir. Heat to boiling, stirring frequently.
    5. Add chicken. Reduce heat and simmer 3 to 4 minutes or until heated through. Stir in lemon peel.
    6. Toss together hot pasta and chicken mixture. Serve immediately.
