    2 lbs. lean stew meat, cubed
    1 can(s) peas, undrained
    1 c. peeled, sliced carrots
    2 large onions, peeled and chopped
    1 large potato, peeled and cubed
    1 tsp. salt
    ¼ tsp. pepper
    1 (10.5 oz) can tomato soup
    ½ can(s) water, measured using emptied soup can
    corn, green beans or other vegetables, optional
    ¼ c. elbow macaroni


    1. Preheat oven to 275 degrees.
    2. Stir together stew meat, peas, carrots, onions, potato, salt, pepper, tomato soup, water and optional vegetables in a large casserole dish. Cover.
    3. Bake for 4-1/2 hours.
    4. Stir in elbow macaroni and bake for 30 more minutes.
