2 lbs. lean stew meat, cubed | ||
1 can(s) peas, undrained | ||
1 c. peeled, sliced carrots | ||
2 large onions, peeled and chopped | ||
1 large potato, peeled and cubed | ||
1 tsp. salt | ||
¼ tsp. pepper | ||
1 (10.5 oz) can tomato soup | ||
½ can(s) water, measured using emptied soup can | ||
corn, green beans or other vegetables, optional | ||
¼ c. elbow macaroni |
Directions
- Preheat oven to 275 degrees.
- Stir together stew meat, peas, carrots, onions, potato, salt, pepper, tomato soup, water and optional vegetables in a large casserole dish. Cover.
- Bake for 4-1/2 hours.
- Stir in elbow macaroni and bake for 30 more minutes.
