Oriental Lettuce Wraps
Servings and Ingredients
|1 lbs.||lean ground pork or lean ground beef|
|1 c.||chopped fresh mushrooms|
|2||green onions, thinly sliced|
|2||cloves garlic, finely chopped|
|1 tsp.||minced peeled fresh ginger|
|1 c.||shredded carrots|
|½ c.||stir-fry sauce|
|5||large iceberg lettuce leaves|
|Diced red peppers and sesame seeds, for garnish|
Things To Grab
- Brown ground pork and mushrooms with green onions, garlic and ginger in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain.
- Add carrots and stir-fry sauce. Stir until heated through.
- Let filling cool slightly before spooning about 1/2 cup into each lettuce leaf. Sprinkle with red peppers and sesame seeds, if desired, fold and serve immediately.
