1 tbsp. Hy-Vee Select olive oil
1 large sweet onion, thinly sliced
1 lbs. green beans, trimmed and cut in half
¼ c. Hy-Vee orange marmalade
1 tbsp. reduced-sodium soy sauce

Directions

  1. Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat. Cook onions, stirring frequently, for 10 minutes or until onions begin to brown. Reduce heat to medium-low and continue cooking, stirring frequently, until onions are very soft and golden brown, about 10 minutes more.
  2. Meanwhile, cook green beans in boiling water until tender-crisp, about 4 minutes. Drain and plunge into ice water. Drain well and add to skillet when onions are finished cooking.
  3. Increase heat to medium and stir in marmalade and soy sauce. Heat through.
