    		4 medium navel oranges, peel and pith cut off and segmented
    		1 tbsp. freshly grated orange zest
    		Orange food coloring, optional

    Directions

    1. Add segmented oranges, orange zest and orange food coloring, if desired, to vanilla ice cream mixture. Freeze ice cream according to ice cream maker's directions. Follow instructions on ice cream maker. Transfer ice cream to a freezer container and freeze until ready to eat.
