Onion 'N' Pepper Beef Steak Sandwich
Servings and Ingredients
|2 tsp.||canola oil|
|1||small onion, cut into thin wedges|
|1||jalapeno pepper, sliced|
|1||small clove garlic, minced|
|½ lbs.||beef round steaks, cut 1/4-inch thick|
|2||kaiser rolls, split|
|¼ c.||chopped tomato|
- Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
- Add onion, jalapeno pepper and garlic. Stirring occasionally, cook 3 to 4 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from skillet.
- Heat same skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Place beef strips in skillet; cook 1 to 2 minutes, turning once. Do not over cook.
- Season with salt. Serve in roll with onion mixture and tomato.
