    6 c. Special K cereal
    1 c. light corn syrup
    ⅔ c. sugar
    1 ½ c. crunchy peanut butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    6 oz. chocolate chips
    6 oz. butterscotch chips

    Directions

    1. Place cereal in a large bowl.
    2. Bring syrup and sugar to a boil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Boil for 2 minutes.
    3. Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter and vanilla until smooth.
    4. Pour over cereal and stir until well coated. Press into a 9-by-13-inch pan.
    5. Melt chocolate chips and butterscotch chips in a medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring often. Pour over cereal mixture and spread evenly.
    6. When topping is firm, cut into squares.
