    QuantityIngredientAdd
1 medium Fuji, Gala, or Braeburn apple
6 tbsp. Hy-Vee smooth peanut butter, plus additional for garnish
¼ c. roasted unsalted sunflower seeds
    3 fresh strawberries, thinly sliced
    1 (0.88-oz.) pkg. candy eyeballs

    Things To Grab

    • Cutting board
    • Knife

    Directions

    1. Thinly cut apples into 12 slices. Spread each slice with ½ tablespoon peanut butter. On 6 apple slices, insert sunflower nuts on the inside of the apple to create “teeth.” On the remaining 6 apple slices, place sliced strawberry on top of peanut butter so pointed end faces out.

    2. Place apples lined with sunflower seeds on top of strawberry slice and apple. If desired, dab the back of the candy eyeballs with additional peanut butter and place on apple skins to create monsters.
