    ¾ c. Hy-Vee granulated sugar
    ¾ c. Hy-Vee brown sugar , packed
    1 tsp. Hy_Vee vanilla extract
    2 Hy-Vee large eggs
    2 ¼ c. Hy-Vee all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. Hy-Vee baking soda
    ½ tsp. Hy-Vee salt
    Milka chocolate bars, broken into pieces

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

    2. In a large bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, and eggs until creamy.

    3. In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add flour mixture to butter mixture. Using a spatula, fold in chocolate chips and nuts, if desired. Drop rounded tablespoonfuls onto a large ungreased cookie sheet.

    4. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned around edges. Remove from baking sheet and place on a wire cooling rack. Place 1 piece Milka chocolate bar pieces onto each cookie; cool completely.
