|1 c.||Hy-Vee unsalted butter, softened|
|¾ c.||Hy-Vee granulated sugar|
|¾ c.||Hy-Vee brown sugar , packed|
|1 tsp.||Hy_Vee vanilla extract|
|2||Hy-Vee large eggs|
|2 ¼ c.||Hy-Vee all-purpose flour|
|1 tsp.||Hy-Vee baking soda|
|½ tsp.||Hy-Vee salt|
|Milka chocolate bars, broken into pieces|

- Large cookie sheet
- Wire cooling rack
In a large bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, and eggs until creamy.
In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add flour mixture to butter mixture. Using a spatula, fold in chocolate chips and nuts, if desired. Drop rounded tablespoonfuls onto a large ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned around edges. Remove from baking sheet and place on a wire cooling rack. Place 1 piece Milka chocolate bar pieces onto each cookie; cool completely.
