    Description

    As an after-work snack or an impromptu appetizer party, this smart combination of fresh melon and salty prosciutto is, hands down, the simplest dish to prepare. Just ask your Hy-Vee butcher for thinly sliced prosciutto.

    1 ripe cantaloupe
    10 to 15 slices prosciutto, about 3 oz.

    Directions

    1. Using a sharp knife, remove peel from the melon. Cut melon in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds. Slice one of the halves lengthwise into slender wedges. Wrap and save the other melon half for another use.

    2. Wrap a slice of prosciutto around each wedge and arrange on a platter.
