    1 tbsp. sugar-free vanilla simple syrup
    1 tbsp. Hy-Vee natural whole almonds , finely chopped
    1 oz. fresh lime juice
    1 tsp. Hy-Vee almond extract
    ½ tsp. organic matcha powder
    3 oz. zero-sugar ginger ale
    Fresh basil, for garnish, if desired

    • 1 (8-oz.) cocktail glass
    • Ice
    • Cocktail shaker

    Directions

    1. Place simple syrup and almonds each in separate shallow dishes. Dip rim of an 8-oz. cocktail glass in vanilla syrup, then into almonds, turning glass to coat evenly. Fill glass with ice; set aside

    2. Add lime juice, almond extract, and matcha powder to an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Cover and shake well until chilled.

    3. Strain mixture into prepared glass. Top with ginger ale. Garnish with basil, if desired.
