    1 c. brown sugar
    1 tbsp. maple syrup
    ¼ tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 c. Good Graces quick oats

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    2. Combine butter and brown sugar in a saucepan; heat and stir until butter is melted and sugar has dissolved. Stir in maple syrup, salt, and baking powder. Stir in the oats and mix well.

    3. Press firmly into ungreased 8-inch-square baking pan.

    4. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until lightly browned. Remove from oven and cool for about 5 minutes. Cut into squares while still warm but allow to cool completely before serving.
