    1 lbs. 85%-lean ground beef
    1 ½ tsp. ground cumin
    1 tsp. Hy-Vee dried oregano
    Hy-Vee salt and Hy-Vee black pepper, to taste
    4 slice(s) Hy-Vee cheddar cheese
    4 Hy-Vee bakery hamburger buns
    Guacamole, Hy-Vee Santa Fe style tortilla strips and fresh pico de gallo, for topping


    1. Lightly grease grill rack. Prepare a charcoal or gas grill for direct cooking over medium heat.
    2. In a medium bowl, combine ground beef, cumin, oregano, salt and black pepper. Shape into four 1/2-inch thick patties. Make a small indentation in center of each burger with your thumb to prevent the center from swelling, leading to uneven cooking.
    3. Grill patties for 10 to 12 minutes or until internal temperature of patties are 160 degrees, turning once halfway through. Place slice of cheese on each burger during last minute of grilling. Sandwich patties on buns and top burgers with guacamole, tortilla strips and pico de gallo.
