    1 (16 oz) pkg Hy-Vee elbow macaroni, uncooked
    ¼ c. Hy-Vee butter or margarine
    ¼ c. Hy-Vee flour
    4 c. Hy-Vee skim or 2% milk
    1 tsp. Hy-Vee salt
    ¼ tsp. Hy-Vee black pepper
    1 lbs. Hy-Vee Smooth & Cheesy, cubed
    ⅔ c. Hy-Vee bread crumbs

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    2. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
    3. Meanwhile, in a large saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Stir in flour until well combined. Add milk, salt and pepper; heat to boiling, stirring occasionally. Stir in cheese spread and heat until melted. Stir in cooked macaroni.
    4. Pour into 9-by-13-inch baking dish and cover with bread crumbs.
    5. Bake 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
