    8 oz. watercress, trimmed, well-rinsed and dried
    ½ lbs. lean tri-tip sirloin steak
    2 ½ tbsp. hoisin sauce
    2 tbsp. water
    1 (8 oz) can Hy-Vee water chestnuts, drained
    1 pear, cored and chopped

    Directions

    1. Heat a medium non-stick skillet over medium-high heat for 1 minute. Add steak and cook 4-5 minutes on each side or until browned on each side. Remove steak and let stand 5 minutes before slicing.
    2. Meanwhile, to make dressing, combine hoisin sauce and water.
    3. Divide watercress, water chestnuts and pear among 4 serving plates. Top with sliced steak and dressing.
