Directions
Drain dates; discard liquid. Place dates in a food processor. Cover and process until smooth, scraping sides of processor and add water, if needed. Using a spatula, push pureed dates through a fine-mesh strainer; discard skins.
Place ice cream in a medium bowl; stir to soften. Fold in pureed dates, pecans, and chocolate chips. Serve immediately.
