    Lemon-Basil Vodka Sour
    2 oz.Row vodka
    Fresh basil, for garnish
    Fresh lemon slices, for garnish

    Directions

    1. Make Lemon-Basil Simple Syrup: Add lemon zest and juice, water, chopped basil, and sugar to a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce to simmering, simmer 5 minutes. Strain through a fine-mesh strainer, and cool completely.

    2. Make Lemon-Basil Vodka Sour: Fill a 6-oz. cocktail glass with ice. Pour 2-oz. vodka and 2-oz. lemon-basil simple syrup into cocktail glass; stir to combine. If desired, garnish with fresh basil and lemon slice.
