Key Lime Pie
Servings and Ingredients
|1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk|
|1 (4 oz) bottle Key lime juice (1/2 c.)|
|2 Hy-Vee large eggs, separated|
|1 (6 oz) graham cracker pie crust|
|Hy-Vee whipped topping, thawed, for garnish|
- Whisk together sweetened condensed milk, Key lime juice and egg yolks.
- In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Fold into Key lime mixture. Pour into crust.
- Bake at 325 degrees for 20 minutes or until firm. Cool completely. Cover and chill at least 3 hours.
- Serve topped with whipped topping, if desired.
