Hot Cocoa Mix in a Jar
Servings and Ingredients
|1 ½ c.||Hershey's unsweetened cocoa powder|
|2 c.||Hy-Vee granulated sugar|
|1 c.||Hy-Vee French vanilla coffee creamer|
|½ c.||Hy-Vee non-fat dry milk|
- Attach a gift label to the front and an instruction label to the back of the jar. The instructions should read as follows: Stir together 3 tbsp Hot Cocoa Mix and 1 tbsp water in a mug. Stir in 1 cup Hy-Vee skim milk. Microwave on HIGH for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes or until hot.
- In a large bowl whisk together cocoa, sugar, coffee creamer and dry milk; pour into pint-size jars.
- Place the lid and ring on the jar. Cover the top with a 5-inch paper circle (use spray or hot glue to adhere the paper to the lid) or a 5-inch sticker and finger pleat the paper around the edges. Tie with ribbon.
