    6 tbsp. Hy-Vee unsalted butter
    ¼ c. packed Hy-Vee brown sugar
    1 tsp. Hy-Vee cinnamon
    ½ tsp. Hy-Vee nutmeg
    ½ tsp. Hy-Vee ground cloves
    ⅛ tsp. Hy-Vee salt
    ⅔ c. dark rum

    Directions

    1. Bring water, butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and salt to a boil in a 1-1/2-quart saucepan over moderately high heat.
    2. Reduce heat and simmer, whisking occasionally, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in rum. Serve hot.
