½ c. packed Hy-Vee dark brown sugar | ||
1 tsp. finely grated orange zest | ||
¾ tsp. Hy-Vee ground cinnamon | ||
¾ tsp. Hy-Vee ground ginger | ||
½ tsp. Hy-Vee ground nutmeg | ||
6 oz. Clove-Infused Brandy | ||
3 c. boiling water, divided | ||
Whipped cream, optional | ||
Whole and crushed caramel candy, for garnish |
Directions
- In a small mixing bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, orange zest, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg with an electric mixer on medium until combined.
- Combine 2 tablespoons spiced butter and 1 1/2 ounces (3 tablespoons) Clove-Infused Brandy in each of 4 heatproof glasses. Add 3/4 cup boiling water, stirring to combine. If desired, top each drink with whipped cream and caramel candy.
