    2 c. water
    3 cinnamon sticks
    1 tbsp. whole cloves
    ½ tsp. whole allspice
    2 qt. unsweetened apple juice

    Directions

    1. Place water, cinnamon sticks, whole cloves and whole allspice in a large pot. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce the heat to low; simmer for 10 minutes.
    2. Strain, discard spices and return to the pot.
    3. Add the apple juice. Simmer over low heat until thoroughly heated. Serve hot.
