    5 c.Hy-Vee honey crunch cereal, crushed
    ½ c.firmly packed Hy-Vee brown sugar
    ¼ c.Hy-Vee honey
    ¼ c.light corn syrup
    ¾ c.Hy-Vee creamy peanut butter
    2 c.(12 ounces) Hy-Vee semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1 tbsp.butter or margarine, softened

    Directions

    1. Place cereal in a large bowl; set aside.
    2. In a medium microwave-safe bowl, combine brown sugar, honey and corn syrup. Microwave on MEDIUM power until mixture comes to a boil. Stir peanut butter into syrup mixture and pour over cereal; stir to coat evenly. Press mixture into an 8-by-8-inch baking pan.
    3. Place chocolate chips in a medium microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on MEDIUM power for 30 seconds; stir. Repeat until chips are smooth and melted. Add butter; stir until smooth. Spread chocolate mixture over cereal mixture.
    4. Chill; cut into bars.
