½ c. Hy-Vee Short Cuts chopped green bell pepper
½ c. Hy-Vee Short Cuts chopped white onion
1 (1-oz.) envelope McCormick original chili seasoning mix
1 (14.5-oz.) Hy-Vee diced canned tomatoes, undrained
1 (14-oz.) can Hy-Vee reduced-sodium beef broth
2 tbsp. Hy-Vee tomato paste
1 ½ c. Hy-Vee elbow macaroni, uncooked
1 c. Hy-Vee shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions

  1. Cook ground beef, bell pepper, and onion in a large skillet on medium-high heat 4 to 5 minutes or until beef is browned and cooked through (165 degrees). Add seasoning mix; stir until well mixed. 

  2. Stir in tomatoes, beef broth, and tomato paste. Bring to boil. Stir in macaroni. Reduce heat to medium; cover and cook 10 minutes or until pasta is tender.

  3. Sprinkle with cheese; cover. Let stand 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
