Servings and Ingredients
|4 c. Hy-Vee non-fat skim milk|
|1 ¼ c. quick enriched hominy grits|
|½ tsp. Hy-Vee salt|
|1 (8-oz.) pkg. Hy-Vee cubed cooked ham (2 cups)|
|4 oz. Culinary Tours original Havarti Danish style cheese, shredded|
|¼ c. plus 2 Tbsp. thinly sliced green onion, divided|

Gradually whisk in grits. Reduce heat to low and cover. Cook 4 to 5 minutes or until grits begin to thicken, stirring frequently.
Add ham, cheese and 1/4 cup green onion; stir until cheese begins to melt. Cover and remove from heat. Let stand 3 to 4 minutes. Stir; spoon into serving dishes. Garnish with remaining 2 Tbsp. green onion, if desired.
