Preheat a charcoal or gas grill for direct cooking over medium heat (350 degrees).
Grilled Garlic Mushrooms are perfect for snacking on your tapas spread. Simply prepare mushrooms and toss with a mixture of olive oil, chopped garlic, and seasonings before grilling.
Servings and Ingredients
|¼ c. Gustare Vita extra virgin olive oil|
|1 ½ tsp. bottled chopped garlic|
|½ tsp. Hy-Vee sea salt, finely ground|
|1 (8-oz.) pkg. whole white mushrooms, trimmed|
|Fresh curly parsley, chopped; for garnish|

- Large bowl
- Aluminum foil
Combine olive oil, garlic, and salt in a large bowl. Add mushrooms; toss to coat. Cut a 16x16-inch sheet of heavy foil. Place mushroom mixture in center of foil; roll or fold up edges of foil to form a side around the mushroom mixture, leaving top open.
Place foil bowls on grill rack. Grill 12 to 18 minutes or until vegetables reach desired doneness, stirring every 3 to 5 minutes. Remove from grill and garnish with parsley, if desired.
