Grilled Cheese with Turkey

Description
Did you know you can use mayo instead of butter to make grilled cheese? Now imagine if you use chipotle mayo.

8 slice(s) Hy-Vee Bakery cracked wheat bread | ||
¼ c. Hy-Vee unsalted butter, softened | ||
16 slice(s) Hy-Vee American, pepper Jack, and/or cheddar cheese | ||
2 medium tomatoes, thinly sliced | ||
4 oz. thinly sliced Hy-Vee deli turkey |
Directions
- Spray a large skillet with non-stick cooking spray and heat over medium heat.
- Spread butter on one side of each bread slice. Working in batches, place buttered sides down in skillet. Top each with two slices of cheese, tomato and turkey.
- Cook until toasted and cheese begins to melt. Using a spatula, flip one onto the other to form sandwich; remove sandwich and keep warm. Repeat with remaining ingredients until all sandwiches are assembled.
