    ½ medium avocado, seeded, peeled and chopped
    2 tbsp. chopped red onion
    ½ jalapeño pepper, seeded and chopped*
    1 tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro, plus additional for garnish
    1 tbsp. fresh lime juice
    6 Hy-Vee Meat Department fresh pork bratwursts
    6 Hy-Vee Bakery brioche brat buns, split
    Cotija cheese, crumbled; for garnish

    Directions

    1. Preheat a charcoal or gas grill for direct grilling over medium heat (350 degrees).

    2. Stir together tomatoes, avocado, red onion, jalapeño pepper, 1 Tbsp. cilantro and lime juice in a medium bowl; set pico aside.

    3. Grill bratwursts for 15 to 18 minutes or until bratwursts reach 165 degrees, turning often.

    4. Serve brats in buns with pico. Garnish with Cotija cheese and additional cilantro, if desired.
