Grass-Fed Beef Burgers
Grass-fed beef is typically leaner than corn-fed beef and contains more of the good fats, such as omega-3s.
Servings and Ingredients
1 lbs. grass-fed ground beef
Hy-Vee seasoned salt, to taste
4 Hy-Vee Bakery hamburger buns
Hy-Vee Short Cuts Hamburger Toppings (lettuce, tomatoes and red onion), for topping
- Lightly grease grill rack. Prepare a charcoal or gas grill for direct cooking over medium heat.
- Shape ground beef into four 1/2-inch thick patties. Make a small indentation in center of each burger with your thumb to prevent the center from swelling, leading to uneven cooking.
- Sprinkle each side of burger with seasoned salt.
- Grill patties for 10 to 12 minutes or until internal temperature of patties are 160 degrees, turning once halfway through. Sandwich patties on buns and serve with desired toppings.
