    1 tsp. Hy-Vee ground cinnamon
    ½ tsp. allspice
    ½ tsp. Hy-Vee ground ginger
    ½ tsp. Hy-Vee nutmeg
    1 (18.25 oz) pkg Hy-Vee German chocolate cake mix
    3 Hy-Vee large eggs
    ½ c. Hy-Vee canola oil
    1 ¼ c. water
    ¼ c. Hy-Vee margarine, melted
    4 oz. Hy-Vee reduced-fat cream cheese, softened
    1 c. Hy-Vee powdered sugar
    ½ tsp. lemon extract

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    2. Add cinnamon, allspice, ginger and nutmeg to cake mix. Prepare cake mix using eggs, oil and water according to package directions for cupcakes. Bake. Let cool.
    3. In a medium mixing bowl, combine margarine, cream cheese, powdered sugar and lemon extract. Beat on medium speed with an electric mixer until smooth. Spread evenly on cupcakes.
