Get-Up-And-Go Energy Bars
Servings and Ingredients
|2 c. Hy-Vee crispy rice cereal|
|2 c. Hy-Vee deluxe low-fat extra fruit granola|
|1 c. Hy-Vee quick oats|
|½ c. wheat germ|
|½ c. ground flax seed|
|4 c. Hy-Vee miniature marshmallows|
|½ c. Hy-Vee crunchy peanut butter|
|½ c. light agave nectar|
|3 tbsp. Hy-Vee unsalted butter|
- Combine crispy rice, granola, quick oats, wheat germ and flax seed.
- In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine marshmallows, peanut butter, agave nectar and butter. Microwave on MEDIUM for 2 minutes. Stir well and continue to microwave in 30-second intervals on MEDIUM until mixture is very smooth.
- Add cereal mixture and stir to combine. Press firmly into a well-greased 13-by-9-inch baking pan. Cover and chill until firm.
