Garlicky Green Beans
Servings and Ingredients
|1 lbs.||trimmed string beans, cut into 1-inch lengths|
|2 tbsp.||Hy-Vee Select olive oil|
|4 clove(s)||garlic, chopped|
|¼ tsp.||Hy-Vee crushed red pepper|
|1 tbsp.||Hy-Vee Select white wine vinegar|
|Hy-Vee salt and Hy-Vee pepper, to taste|
- Boil beans until desired tenderness is reached. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking. Set aside.
- Place olive oil, garlic and crushed red pepper in a large skillet. Heat over medium heat and cook until garlic is golden brown. Stir in the vinegar and let it bubble for 1 minute.
- Add the beans and toss to coat. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
