1 lbs. trimmed string beans, cut into 1-inch lengths | ||
2 tbsp. Hy-Vee Select olive oil | ||
4 clove(s) garlic, chopped | ||
¼ tsp. Hy-Vee crushed red pepper | ||
1 tbsp. Hy-Vee Select white wine vinegar | ||
Hy-Vee salt and Hy-Vee pepper, to taste |
Directions
- Boil beans until desired tenderness is reached. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking. Set aside.
- Place olive oil, garlic and crushed red pepper in a large skillet. Heat over medium heat and cook until garlic is golden brown. Stir in the vinegar and let it bubble for 1 minute.
- Add the beans and toss to coat. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
